Terms of business and information

As is the way in the modern world there are a few basic terms of doing business that you need to be aware of please: –

  • Hours of business – Please do call, text or email us any time,  we will always respond quickly when we can, normally our business hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00, we are a small and dynamic company and aim to be responsive, however if you do plan to visit us it is best to phone ahead.
  • Payment terms – Strictly payment on presentation of invoice please, our preference is payment by bank transfer, or by cash, however we can take all major bank and credit cards.
  • Passwords – In many cases you will need to provide us with privileged passwords. Please see a more detail in our privacy & security policy.
  • Receipts – Should we need to receive equipment for repair you will be provided with a copy of job sheet / receipt detailing the fault along with a list of items (machine, power supplies and cables, etc.) we take from you, on their return you will be asked to sign to say we returned them. We may also ask you to produce your copy of the receipt on picking up goods (particularly if someone different we don’t know is picking up items).
  • Security of data – We very strongly urge you to have a current backup of important files at all times, we will take reasonable precautions in order to keep your data safe, however in event that data is lost we cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses.   • Viruses and malware – We very strongly urge you to use malware and virus detection software as well as keeping your operating system and program versions up to date at all times, we will take reasonable precautions in order to to keep you safe, we cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses.   • Warranty – All repairs and second user items sold by us will be warrantied for 3 months.
