Pricing and information

We want to charge a competitive price for the work we undertake and for you to be fully aware of our charges, therefore we will keep in touch with you, ensuring there are no surprises.

  • Basic labour charge – We charge a rate of £40 an hour, £20 for each 30 minutes, for our repair, maintenance, basic training and support services.
  • Enhanced labour charge – We charge a rate of £60 an hour, £30 for each 30 minutes for our consultancy, management, bespoke training and project management services.
  • Site visits – Site visits to your home or business will be charged at a minimum duration of 60 mins at the appropriate rate, then each additional 30 mins thereafter. We reserve the right to charge travel costs if outside a 15 mile driving radius of central Stroud. For clarity we are happy to visit the following without additional charges: – Stonehouse, Nailsworth, Cirencester, Tetbury, Malmesbury, Dursley, Wotton – Under Edge, Berkley, Gloucester & Cheltenham.
  • Estimates – Workshop investigation / diagnosis will be charged at £20. However this will be deducted from your bill if you accept the estimate and go ahead with a repair / remedial work).
  • Drop offs / Pickups – It maybe more convenient for you to drop off and pick up your equipment outside our core business hours, this will likely be possible, however please call or text ahead to make sure we are in. We use WhatsApp.
  • Parts – The price of parts will be notified in your estimate. Once accepted, if we need to order parts specifically for your repair / upgrade we will charge  a restocking fee of £60 if you subsequently decide to cancel.
  • Out of hours – Urgent out of hours work is charged at 1.5 times the relevant labour charge. – We consider our core business hours to be Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00. (It will be possible to arrange advanced non urgent bookings at the lower rate outside core hours).
  • Unable to repair – If for any reason we are unable to repair a machine or peripheral, we will inform you, no charge will be made.
  • Uneconomical to repair – If, after investigation we deem a machine or peripheral is uneconomical to repair, we inform you and no charge will be made.
  • No fault found – On occasion it might be that we can’t replicate uncertain or intermittent symptoms, in this circumstance, we will charge £20 only, if the fault does then reoccur, the first 30 mins will not be charged for a second visit for the same problem.
  • Upgrades – In the main we will provide an estimate for an upgrade free of charge, in exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to charge an estimate fee of £20 if work is required to establish the specific configuration of your machine. Please be aware ahead of any upgrade some basic checks will be made on your machine to establish it is working before we commence work, if any remedial work is required you will be notified.
  • Data removal – In most cases data can be removed from Hard Disks Drives (HDD’s) or Solid State Drives (SSD’s), the removal will be charged at £10 for a software over write. HDD’s can be physically destroyed for £5 (the device can never be reused).
  • Disposal – All equipment and removed parts will be returned to the client; on request we can dispose of items (free of charge) where replacements have been purchased from us, we can support with other disposals, however a small charge maybe necessary (We do not take CRT screens).
